First Natural And Than Spiritual - The Trinity Illustrated Or Demonstrated
By Nature
In my initial introduction to this presentation I mentioned that among the amazing teachers I was blessed to sit under, to learn
from their knowledge and wisdom was my Pastor, Bishop Frank Elijah Johnson.  Of the many, many teachings he shared not
only from behind the pulpit, the Wednesday night bible study, within the messages of his many preaching’s.  Then I cannot
forget sitting with the Bishop and Sister Johnson across the breakfast table eating his unique seven-up pancakes, or lunch at a
local cafeteria and dining with my family a delicious Mexican meal in my home.

It was in these different and various venues that the Bishop would open his great mind and heart with the words of scripture to
establish my walk with the Lord and my ministry.  Bishop Johnson in one his many lessons shared these words of wisdom
with me, “In order to reach the souls of the lost, those that do not know Jesus, you must first reach them naturally then
spiritually”.  Bishop Johnson would then share this.  “You cannot tell a soul about Jesus if they have not had a decent meal,
are suffering from the cold, are sick or hurting”.  “First natural than spiritual”.  His words would direct us to these scriptures.

And when it was evening, his disciples came to him, saying, This is a desert place, and the time is now past; send the multitude
away, that they may go into the villages, and buy themselves victuals.  But Jesus said unto them, They need not depart; give ye
them to eat.  And they say unto him, We have here but five loaves, and two fishes.  He said, Bring them hither to me.  And he
commanded the multitude to sit down on the grass, and took the five loaves, and the two fishes, and looking up to heaven, he
blessed, and brake, and gave the loaves to his disciples, and the disciples to the multitude.
And they did all eat, and were filled: and they took up of the fragments that remained twelve baskets full.  And they that had
eaten were about five thousand men, beside women and children.  Matthew 14:15-21

It is sown in dishonour; it is raised in glory: it is sown in weakness; it is raised in power: It is sown a natural body; it is raised
a spiritual body. There is a natural body, and there is a spiritual body. And so it is written, The first man Adam was made a
living soul; the last Adam was made a quickening spirit. Howbeit that was not first which is spiritual, but that which is
natural; and afterward that which is spiritual. The first man is of the earth, earthy: the second man is the Lord from heaven.
As is the earthy, such are they also that are earthy: and as is the heavenly, such are they also that are heavenly. And as we
have borne the image of the earthy, we shall also bear the image of the heavenly. 1 Corinthians 15:43-49

In his teaching of the Trinity, Dr. McGee would also provide examples of the natural element in the world that also
demonstrated how the trinity surrounded our daily lives.  Music has always been an important part of my own personal life so
we shall began with Music.

One can spend a lifetime in their attempt to understand the total dynamics of music, however as you relate to the music of your
choice be it classical, pop, rock, country, blues or songs of praise, you already have a grasp of what you see and hear in music.
All music is based on the three-element illustrated above rhythm, harmony and the melody and with this a song touches your
innermost person.

Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom; teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and
spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord.  Colossians 3:16

Speaking to yourselves in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing and making melody in your heart to the Lord;
Ephesians 5:19
